Metallica - Worldwired Tour Open Air in Europe - Ghost and Bokassa in the pre-program

 

Metallica's WorldWired Tour returns to Europe between 1 May and 25 August 2019 in stadiums, parks and even a castle.

 

The new dates are Metallica's first European concerts since their Arena tour, which broke audience records in 29 venues between September 2017 and May 2018. The 25 newly confirmed shows of the WorldWired Tour, which starts in Lisbon on May 1, will take place in 20 countries and visit a dozen or so cities not included in 2017 and 2018, including Milan, Zurich, Dublin, Brussels (for the first time since 1988), Berlin, Moscow, Warsaw, Bucharest and Gothenburg, as well as premieres in Trondheim, Norway, Hämeenlinna, Finland and Tartu, Estonia.

The Ernst Happel Stadium in Leopoldstadt, the 2nd district of Austria's capital Vienna, is the largest stadium in Austria. It was built between 1929 and 1931 for the second Workers' Olympiad to the design of German architect Otto Ernst Schweizer.
