After the pandemic break, Palais Palffy gets a new soul and continues the tradition of chamber concerts.


This exclusive concert venue is located in the heart of Vienna, in the immediate vicinity of the Hofburg the Hofburg, the National Library and the world-famous Spanish Riding School.


Palais Palffy is an estate steeped in history, where the Renaissance meets the past. the past meets the present. It received its name from the Palffy family, who owned the palace in the 17th century.


Famous personalities came and went here. Among others, as a child Amadeus Mozart, who is said to have presented his "Figaro" here in private. The Figaro Hall bears his name.


MUSICA VIENNA chamber concerts feature the most renowned soloists of the classical classical world music scene perform. The concert programme with unique instrumentation and special arrangement offers a selection of the best-known works of world-famous composers.

Michal Matejcik - harp
He gained classical orchestra and concert experience under conductors such as
Fabio Luisi, Vakery Gergiev, Andreas Orozco-Estrada, Heinrich Schiff and in orchestras such as the Vienna State Opera, the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra,
the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, etc. In addition, he is also active in the field of popular music. Among other things, he completed the European tour with George Michael.


Veronika Vitazkova Simonsen - Flute
She has substituted in renowned orchestras such as Volksoper Wien, Wiener Vienna Chamber Orchestra, the ORF RSO Vienna or in the Czech National
Symphony Orchestra (conducted by Ennio Morricone - Europe Tour 2016). In the summer 2015 she won the audition for the Summer Academy of the Vienna
Philharmonic Summer Academy in Salzburg and participated in the Salzburg Festival.


Katarina Kurucova - Soprano
She is a successful participant and multiple winner of prestigious international competitions. She gained professional experience under the
under the guidance of renowned artists such as Grammy winner Jennifer Larmor or Grammy and Pulitzer nominated Univ. prof. Niels Muus. She has performed regularly in Austria, Italy, Canada, Czech Republic, Slovak National Theatre and with Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra.
