PLEASE VERGESST´S MI NET! A bow to Ludwig Hirsch

"PLEASE FORGET ABOUT ME!"
40 YEARS DARK GREY SONGS

Even as a young person I was able to experience how the bud Ludwig Hirsch developed into one of the most beautiful flowers in Austria, bloomed for a long time and delighted many people with its scent. But as is the case with the flowers, at some point they wither, some much too early!

Now that my leaves are slowly beginning to turn autumnal, I have made it my business to remember this wonderful artist and to fulfill his wish "Please forget mi net". As far as possible I try to orient myself to Ludwig's voice and his very own interpretation, he not only sang his songs, no, he acted them (no wonder, he was also and above all an excellent theatre and film actor). Guitaristically I stick to his congenial partner and longtime friend Johnny M. Bertl.

Forced pseudo cover versions I give a clear rejection here. I just want to "remember" and not reinvent Ludwig's songs. Thankfully I am accompanied by my longtime musical friend NADJA MILFAIT on cello. A musical bow and a thank you: that's it. No more, but also no less!

Sincerely, Christian Kölbl

Wiener Metropol

The great hall

It is distinguished by its six sand- and gold-colored columns and the central nave with the two brass louvers. Since summer 1998 equipped with modern soundproofing, the large hall of the Viennese metropolis, newly renovated, shines in new splendor. Famous and popular due to international and national events from musicals to cabaret to concerts.

A stage open on three sides gives the visitor fascinating insights into the scenarios. In addition, in the case of in-house musical productions, the entire hall is usually played and the audience is involved in the event. For all cultural events, the large hall can be optimally utilized, with a capacity of 700 standing or 550 seats, or adapted seating with round tables. Carefully selected performances, state-of-the-art technology and competent employees make culture an experience!
