The Nova Jazz & Blues Nights present MF Robots (GB)

Music places things with us on which we can often hardly put into words. The current album of MF Robots goes a lot further and lays a grandiose foundation to give even robots goose bumps. The London duo now released their first album "Music For Robots".

Music For Robots is an album that is fun to listen to right from the start and still doesn't wear out quickly. You can literally feel the harmony between the two. So it sounds extremely stirring and colourful Modern Soul. (Jürgen Drimal)

MF Robots combines the talents of Brand New Heavies founder, drummer and main songwriter, Jan Kincaid with vocalist and fellow 'Heavy', Dawn Joseph, who has sung backing vocals for everyone from Rod Stewart to Phil Collins, Michael Buble to Craig David.

Together the duo aims to create a brand new sound that draws inspiration from across the spectrum of musical styles and influences. "We want to provide a little escapism for the soul," explains Jan Kincaid. "Providing exciting energy and music that is both current and able to stand the test of time."

With a brand new groove from two well-established artists, MF Robots fuse musical styles in their unique and eclectic way.

"their vibe is an eclectic and unique blend of hard funk, electronic, acid jazz, smooth soul, and pop."
