Yaron Herman Trio (ISR)

Fascinated by the power of letters, the Israeli pianist Yaron Herman, who lives in France, has named his 12th album simply "Y". "Y" stands for the synthesis of opposites, but also for division. Born in 1981, the former basketball player, who had only learned to play the piano at the age of 16, wanted to overcome these differences in his new pieces. In his latest opus, Herman boldly combines elements of the jazz, electronic and post-rock genres. PORGY & BESS Jazzclub
