The Waltz King announces another date in Vienna: Due to high demand, there will be an exclusive additional concert at the Wiener Stadthalle on November 6, 2024. The concert on November 8, 2024 is now almost sold out.

André Rieu's concerts are unique, not only because of his captivating music, but also because of his humorous appearance, elaborate costumes, opulent stage decorations and spectacular lighting effects. The Viennese audience can look forward to a romantic yet cheerful program of opera, hits, musicals, film music, evergreens and, of course, wonderful waltzes.

“I love the Viennese audience and the atmosphere in this beautiful city. It's not for nothing that I named my orchestra after my favorite composer Johann Strauss. It makes me very happy to give an additional concert in Vienna and share the wonderful melodies with my fans. I can hardly wait to see them all again,” says the star violinist.

The charismatic Dutchman, who celebrates his 75th birthday on October 1, has long been one of the most successful live acts in the world with over 40 million albums sold, around 500 platinum awards, almost 10 million Facebook fans, billions of views on YouTube and over 700,000 spectators a year. Rieu has four stages and four sets of instruments to cover long transportation routes. In his 100-strong touring entourage, he not only travels with the world's largest private orchestra, choir and soloists, but also with his own chefs, a doctor and a fitness trainer. In 2024, over 80 concerts will take him all over Europe, Mexico, Colombia and Chile.

This is also demonstrated by his new DVD “Love is all Around” (currently on sale) - a LIVE recording of his spectacular open-air concerts from 2023 at the historic Vrijthof in Maastricht. One of the highlights of the DVD is the emotional performance by 16-year-old exceptional singer Emma Kok, who moved the audience to tears with the French ESC song “Voilà” and became a viral hit. Emma Kok will also be performing with André Rieu at the Wiener Stadthalle.
