20 Years of Federspiel - Time to Celebrate!

Two decades full of music, friendship, and unforgettable moments on and offstage.

As an artistic heavyweight with light-as-a-feather compositions under their belt, the ensemble has long performed on major concert stages around the world. Their performances have taken them from Scandinavia to Egypt and from the USA back to the beautiful Wachau region. In hundreds of concerts from the Elbphilharmonie to the Vienna Konzerthaus, from Stanford University to rustic pub halls, Federspiel has developed its own musical language in the tension between tradition and modernity, establishing itself as one of the most innovative ensembles on the European brass music scene.

With new compositions in the typical Federspiel sound, but also, of course, with favorite pieces and anecdotes from bygone eras, Federspiel is celebrating its anniversary as a celebration for itself and its audience.
