What sounds like a "Who's Who" of the current jazz rock / fusion scene is in fact the line-up of the new album "...Or What?" by electric guitarist Gerald Gradwohl.
Gerald has been working with Kirk Covington since 2002, when they recorded the album "ABQ" with Bob Berg and Gary Willis, which made big waves in the fusion scene. The idea of recording a joint album with Adam and Kirk was born during the 2014 tour and could finally be realized this year.
Modern recording techniques have made it possible to capture these exceptional musicians together on this album. The sessions and what was captured cannot be described here in words......, you have to hear the recording. It is breathtaking. A blend of jazz, rock and funk that makes for an energetic and exciting project that showcases not only the amazing instrumental abilities of these musicians, but also the exceptional musicianship and chemistry this band creates together. Guest appearances by Bill Evans, Gergo Borlai and Stephan Maass attest to Gerald's high standing in today's jazz and fusion scene. (press release
