The acclaimed Finnish composer-pianist-moogist Kari Ikonen has developed his own, totally unique musical language, inspired by different music traditions around the world. His particular interest falls on Arabic, Turkish & Persian music, and for being able to interpret the microtonal maqamat on acoustic piano, he has invented the revolutionary Maqiano™ Micro tuning System. Berlin-based, Swiss clarinet virtuoso Claudio Puntin is an exceptional combination of ultimate originality and outstanding professionalism. Delicate melodies, impossible written passages or long, ever-developing improvisations - he’s an expert. Born in Paris, Amir Wahba is an Austrian percussionist with Egyptian roots. His passion for groove, improvisation and the constant search for new timbres make him a versatile and sought-after rhythm artist, who feels at home in any style of music. Together these gentlemen take the listener to a magical voyage through times and spaces, from the untouched Nordic forests to the bazaars of ancient Persepolis, and further to the unknown, distant galaxies.
