The performance lasts approximately 90 minutes, including a 15-minute intermission. A charming, witty, and knowledgeable English-speaking host guides the audience through the
evening. In addition to the orchestra, internationally acclaimed sopranos, pianists, and the Vienna Royal Ballet perform, presenting exclusive choreographies set to the music.
The Orchestra: A Hand-Picked Ensemble of Soloists The masterpieces are performed by the soloists of the Wiener Mozart Orchester, a meticulously selected ensemble representing Vienna’s musical elite. The festive dinner is served before the concert and features a specially curated four-course menu of Austrian specialties. Guests may choose from a classic, vegetarian, or children’s menu. Tickets: Discounted tickets are available for youth aged 5–18 and students up to 27 years.

The Concert and Its Program
The Imperial Gala Concert presents a “best-of” program of classical music, showcasing timeless masterpieces from the golden age of Viennese music. Each selection is carefully chosen from works by iconic composers closely connected to Palais Auersperg:
-Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Delight in pieces such as Eine kleine Nachtmusik and the renowned “Queen of the Night” aria from The Magic Flute. In 1786, Mozart personally conducted the Viennese premiere of his opera Idomeneo right here at Palais Auersperg.
-Johann Strauss II: Known as the “Waltz King,” Strauss performed regularly at Palais Auersperg. The concert celebrates his lively spirit with waltzes, polkas, and marches including The Blue Danube, the Emperor Waltz, the Radetzky March, and more.
-Antonio Vivaldi: Enjoy highlights from the Baroque master’s most famous work, The Four Seasons.
-Other Masters: The program is rounded out with musical gems by Johann Pachelbel, Franz Lehár, and other great composers, turning the evening into a truly unique musical journey through time.
