Since 2020, the onQ collective has provided a stage for the presentation of new music and the realization of its creative ideas. Originally founded in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, it now focuses more than ever on instrumentalists and composers and brings current compositions to the stage in varying line-ups throughout the year.

After several "Composer's Specials" with Stepan Flagar, Ole Morten Vågan, Tijn Wybenga, Judith Ferstl, Flora Geißelbrecht, Christoph Pepe Auer, Tobias Meissl, Jul Dillier, Michael Tiefenbacher, Tobias Vedovelli ... Peter Herbert has now been commissioned to compose for the collective and to arrange his compositions for the ensemble. And anyone who knows the quality of the composing bassist knows that a very exciting musical evening is in store. Exciting! CH
