On February 28 and March 1, 2025, the Vienna Fingerstyle Festival will celebrate its 15th anniversary. We are thrilled that one of Europe’s most renowned jazz clubs, Porgy & Bess, will once again provide its stage for our unique celebration of the acoustic guitar. Internationally acclaimed artists, as well as audience favorites from previous years, will enchant visitors with their guitar sounds over two extraordinary concert evenings.

The Vienna Fingerstyle Festival once again offers Austrian and international artists a platform to present this challenging guitar technique to interested listeners. The mix of well-known guitar virtuosos and emerging talents has distinguished the festival for years and is worth seeing and hearing for not only die-hard guitar fans.

On Friday evening, Stephanie Jones, Claire Besson & Ladislav Pazdera, and Mario Berger will open the festival. Both Mario Berger, who hails from Austria and works as a guitarist for numerous Austropop stars, and the internationally renowned Stephanie Jones, who has a strong presence on YouTube and various social media, are two prominent representatives of the guitar scene, whose captivating performances regularly win the hearts of their listeners both at home and abroad. The Friday lineup is rounded out by the duo "Besson-Pazdera," consisting of Claire Besson and Ladislav Pazdera, who will kick off the 15th edition of the Vienna Fingerstyle Festival with a diverse mix of their own compositions and arrangements.

On the second day of the festival, Kyran Daniel, Sophie Chassee, and Crossing Strings will captivate the audience. The Australian YouTube star Kyran and the groove-heavy and melodically rich Sophie Chassee, who hails from Germany, are both guarantees of a spectacular and varied evening. The Saturday will begin with Crossing Strings, made up of Carina Maria Linder and Markus Schlesinger, who will complete the second day of the festival with a diverse mix of their old and new programs.

Let yourself be taken on a musical journey into the world of the acoustic guitar and look forward to two extraordinary concert evenings.
