The Swedish royals took a long time to agree: On Austrian National Day, October 26, 2025, they will be giving their first headline show in Austria in 13 (!) years! The self-proclaimed "best live band on the planet" is unpacking the finest rock music and hitting the road with their new album to be celebrated!

"The Hives Forever Forever The Hives" is the name of the seventh album, which will see the light of day on August 29, 2025. And these gentlemen aren't overpromising: every single song is a single, every single is a hit, every hit is a direct hit in the face of humanity. It's an album so full of energy, joy, anger, and life that you'll question reality as you've known it. The record consists of 13 songs, created with commitment, dedication, and skill in Sweden in collaboration with the esteemed producers Pelle Gunnerfeldt and Mike D (Beastie Boys). The first single, "Enough Is Enough," is accompanied by a video shot in the magnificent city of Bucharest. Masterfully directed by renowned and award-winning filmmaker Eik Kockum, the band slipped into various combative roles.

Over the past 30 years, The Hives—consisting of Howlin' Pelle, Chris Dangerous, The Johan And Only, Nicholaus Arson, and Vigilante Carlstroem—have cemented their place in the annals of rock history. Their success has seen them sell out large stadiums and share the stage with greats like AC/DC. The BBC called them a "force of nature," and Rolling Stone named their album "Veni Vidi Vicious" one of the top 100 albums of the decade. With millions of albums sold, platinum certifications, and numerous accolades, including Grammys, MTV Awards, and NME Awards, they are true titans of the music world.
