Trumpets in Concert is celebrating its 25th stage anniversary this year. Founded by Leonhard Leeb, the classical band has earned its high international reputation with outstanding concerts at international festivals such as the Bregenz Festival, Carinthian Summer, "Proms at St. Jude's" in London, a tour in Canada, and a cultural performance in China (including the Deyang Music Festival at the Deyang Concert Hall). A highlight of their career was certainly the invitation by the Austrian Federal President Heinz Fischer, who twice (in 2004 and 2010) asked them to musically frame his inauguration. The international classical labels NAXOS, with the worldwide release of the CD "Imperial Fanfares," and ARS Production have long since taken notice of the trumpeters, and the BBC Online Magazine in London also dedicated an article to them. In 2005, they played the world premiere of "Fanfare for Carinthia" by Sir Peter Maxwell Davies as part of the Carinthian Summer. On the occasion of the Chinese New Year 2023, the Christmas concert was live-streamed as a concert stream in China.

Artistic brilliance and diverse, exciting programs merge into an evening full of emotions – whether in the halls of concert houses or the sacred spaces of cathedrals and churches. This time, the audience can look forward to Baroque music, festive hymns from church masses, and cheerful Christmas songs: an atmospheric pre-Christmas season with Trumpets in the heated Vienna Minoritenkirche.
