Dancing is the order of the day when King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard unleash their sound in real time at Vienna's Gasometer during their "Rave Set," subjecting their extensive oeuvre to a complete live transformation. They trade their guitars and fuzz pedals for a fully modular synthesizer table that beats to the same beat as their musical ethos—ambitious, improvisational, and epiphanic. The show is inspired by their 2023 longplayer "The Silver Cord," their foray into more electronic, synth-heavy sounds. "Freak out and rave" is definitely the motto of the evening!
