To mark the 38th anniversary of the legendary, Academy Award-winning film, "Dirty Dancing in Concert" returns in 2026 with a world tour spanning more than 100 cities across Europe and North America. Global content leader Lionsgate and GEA Live, together with Semmel Concerts, will present Dirty Dancing in Concert in Germany and Austria in April 2026. Audiences can look forward to unforgettable moments and be enchanted by the romantic charm of the beloved classic! Nearly a quarter of a million tickets have already been sold for this spectacular live film concert, whose multi-platinum soundtrack has defined an entire generation.

The film will be shown in German / The original songs are in English.

Dirty Dancing in Concert is a unique experience that brings Baby and Johnny’s unforgettable love story back to life. While the digitally remastered film plays on the big screen, a live band with multiple singers performs the hits in perfect sync.

Afterward, a fantastic aftershow party takes place, featuring a medley of favorite songs from the film—perfect for singing and dancing along. Audiences can relive the film’s most iconic moments, accompanied by the live energy of the band.

With its unforgettable soundtrack and legendary dance scenes, Lionsgate’s timeless classic Dirty Dancing tells the story of a summer romance. Released in 1987, the film quickly became an international box office sensation. Directed by Emile Ardolino, written by Eleanor Bergstein, and produced by Linda Gottlieb, the film starred Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey in the lead roles alongside Jerry Orbach, Cynthia Rhodes, and Kelly Bishop. Its soundtrack spawned two multi-platinum albums and numerous hit singles, including the Oscar-winning Best Original Song “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life.” Grossing more than $214 million worldwide, Dirty Dancing captured the hearts of audiences everywhere.
