UNA STORIA IMPORTANTE – WORLD TOUR
Eros Ramazzotti is back! With his songs, he has shaped the history of Italian music and, with 16 studio albums, completely sold-out European and world tours, as well as numerous awards, he is one of the most successful artists from our neighboring country. The now 62-year-old artist has sold more than 80 million records and achieved nearly ten billion streams worldwide.
And now the success story continues: “Una Storia Importante” is the title of the tour that tells the story of the deep connection between Eros and his audience — an authentic and lasting bond that transcends time, borders, and generations. A story of music, emotion, and shared experiences, written with the same passion as ever. And the world tour — with dates across Europe, North America and Canada, as well as Latin America — has one goal only: to touch the hearts of audiences around the world.
Eros Ramazzotti was born in 1963 in Cinecittà, Rome. From an early age, he dreamed of becoming a singer. In 1981, he took part in the “Voci Nuove di Castrocaro” competition, received a recording contract, and moved to Milan. Success came in 1984 when he won the newcomers’ category at the prestigious Sanremo Festival with “Terra promessa,” capturing the attention of Italian music fans. In 1985, he returned to the festival with “Una storia importante,” and in 1986 he won Sanremo with “Adesso tu” and released “Nuovi eroi.”
During the 1990s, he achieved record-breaking sales with albums such as “Tutte storie” (1993) and “Dove c'è musica” (1996). In 2003, he released the album “9,” which remained at the top of the Italian charts for 14 weeks — the accompanying world tour reached more than one million fans. Ramazzotti continued his career with international tours and new albums (most recently “Battito infinito,” 2022), maintaining his status as an icon of Italian and international pop music.
In May 2027, we will finally say “Ciao!” once again to the Italian icon, his super hits, and countless emotions, as Eros finally returns to the Wiener Stadthalle!
